pinterest is great (there are quite a few threads around about it now, maybe over in arts and craft)- it's not exactly a style guide... more people flagging up pictures of what they like, I find lots of inspiration there though.

I like the living etc web site (the magazine, can;t remember URL sorry)

There are lots of blogs that are beautiful too... modern country home is one off the top of my head.

Maybe if you think about what your style is (eg country, utility chic, kitsch etc) then google some blogs- probably be loads of ideas there.

Great furniture (at a good price) on made.com.

Like the website thanks!

I second pinterest. Have you seen apartment therapy?

trixymalixy · 14/10/2011 21:11

Design sponge is also good. Unfortunately the living etc site is not what it once was, think it's been amalgamated into another not so good site.

CaptainNancy · 14/10/2011 23:09

Oh- appartment therapy is great!

This is Modern Country Style blog

you're right about living etc, but `I still like the forum bit, because I LOVE to see what other people have done with their houses (when they post photos) [nosy]

This blog - diy with add is okay- the kitchen make-over is stunning, really nice use of space.

This Inspired Room is also US site, but has lots of ideas, quite nice ones for The Holidays

A lot of my inspiration comes from cookery blogs- amelie's house is nice.

Swedish house blog is also nice.

And possibly my all time favourite home-type blog- Chez Larsson mmmmmmm.
