a little light escapism. I spend 30 mins a day on this site, drooling over what I would do with vast sums of cash and screaming in horror at what others do.

Like this mon dieu. In Las Vegas where else.

Some highlights...

An incredible trophy room with butternut wood paneling and automated recorded sounds of animals in the wild that is light activated. (Can you imagine creeping out the kids rooms at night, then, bam! sounds of the jungle)

A professional beauty salon. (every home needs one, especially mine haha)

An indoor underground shooting range which can double as a recording studio or bowling alley is accessible through an underground tunnel. (tunnel?!)

A 20 car showroom complete with deionized-water car wash and gas station. (please follow the link if only to see the garage)

An indoor-outdoor dog villa. (laughing too hard to type now)

Only in America, I liked this bit...

a marvelous pool with majestic waterfalls, waterslide and spa complete with grotto bar and one bedroom Guest Suite built into caves behind the waterfall

Heh, when I buy it you can stay in the guest suite! I promise to deactivate the animal sounds!!

How would you find the time to use all the rooms and features - you'd spend your life going from the bar to the pool to the beauty salon to the games room to the shooting gallery to the bathroom to the bedroom etc. I have days when I don't make it into the sitting room, and my house is ever so slightly smaller than that one .....

did a quick google - Michael Jackson was thinking of buying it! Apparantly it belongs to a casino developer....

mrsbleasdale · 26/09/2011 07:39

Too much going on there - they never need to leave the house - which seems sad!!

Love the garage!!

Now I know where I'm going wrong in my house hunting. It's not a 'house' I'm looking for... it's a 'compound'! Wink
