Matching kitchen appliances.....do you?

I half expect the answer is no, but was wondering how brand loyal people are.

If you have a built in oven and micro next to each other would you buy the same brand? Not so bothered about items apart or integrated.

Are some companies renowned for making better types of appliances - like fab ovens but useless dishwashers etc

No I buy an item depending on its reviews, price and what I want it to do. I have a Samsung oven, a Hotpoint washing machine, Panasonic breadmaker and a Whirlpool microwave!

If I have 2 appliances like ovens next to each other then I want them to match but I don't need the hob to be the same brand as the ovens.

For a built in oven and microwave right next to each other in wall mounted units I probably would match. For anything else I wouldn't.

I was looking at a samsung oven - which o you have an is it good? I'm looking at the single dual cook that steam cleans . Can't find a micro to match though

As long as colour is same and style similar does it matter

I have this oven. It doesn't have a cleaning function though. I have only had it for a few weeks but it is cooking everything well and is so quiet compared to my last oven.
