I love surfing all those property design websites of gorgeous houses and thinking 'if only'... But so many of them seem to be of the four-bedrooms-massive-garden-old-rectory-converted-georgian type, it's difficult in particular to find something a) more modern and b) on a smaller scale, say a flat.
Well I've found a great website, although [ahem] it is in French. Not a problem for me but just clicking through on the images gives some good ideas, so I thought I would pass it on. Features lots of stunning places with room by room visits and floorplans. Most of the properties are in France though some are further afield.
