There was a link in an old thread a while ago for a website that shows how long houses have been on the market for and a what price, showing any price reductions etc.

Does anyone know what the web address is a I can't remember what the thread was or the link?

Ta muchly

It could be property snake? You can put in the postcode and it tells you houses in the area that have dropped their price and also how long they have been on the market for.

It would be useful if anyone knew a website that shows you simply how long properties have been on the market for though! HTH.

propertybee.com have a browser tool you can download which interacts with Rightmove so all listing information comes up for each property as you do your searches.
Previous sold prices for a house or postcode/street of interest can be picked up from many sites - Zoopla for instance (Rightmove might have that facility too). Zoopla now has historic listings too now for if a house has previously been on the market - is interesting to see if a place has been upgraded since it was last sold, or if it's come to the market and been removed because it hasn't sold previously, and how much they were asking etc.
All very useful tools to help gauge position/price in the current market.

have a look on home.co.uk once you have found the property there is a bit to click on called price history and that shows if it was previously marketted higher. not sure how far it goes back and if it shows how long a property has been on the market though
