I'm really struggling with our dining room - I painted it several colours and it is now F&B Wimborne White, with Slipper Satin woodwork and has a cut out wall to our kitchen which is painted the same, but with Shaded White Units. The floor is stripped pine and our dining table is chunky reclaimed dark oak with chocolate brown leather chairs.
It looks lovely during the day, but at night its just not cosy. I can't decorate it again my dh will divorce me. The room is gorgeous, its 15' square with a huge double sash window with panelling below and thick architrave all around, so lots of character and would look great with roman blinds. I like quite a contemporary look.
At the moment I've got a chair and apothecary chest of drawers in each alcove - but these are from other rooms so I will need some furniture.
Any ideas would be really appreciated.
