Anyway, they're a provider of self build homes. Anyone used them? Can recommend them? Slate them?

no but we are looking to possibly do a self build and saw the one at the self build centre recently - have you been down to have a look. Am thinking cant be the most cost effective way to do a self build though?

There are many other companies that make timber-framed houses, particularly Swedish and German. My BIL was planning on doing a self-build (unable to get a decent plot as yet) and he had lots of brochures on gorgeous homes - think he went to a self-build exhibition in London - Olympia? at all useful?
Have been to see a few Potton houses and seem a bit dark and old-fashioned - too many pillars in the middle of rooms/kitchens too.
