Any recommendations for reasonably priced ceiling lights?

Currently decorating our hall on a budget and need a new light - does anyone have any recommendations? Have looked at the usual places - John Lewis, Laura Ashley, NExt, BHS etc but can't find anything I like. Many thanks

B and Q, Homebase, Dunelm mill, Tesco direct all do good quality cheapish light fittings.
Poundstretcher, Home Bargains and local discount stores do cheap stuff too.
