Silver paint

Hi all
I'd like to paint a wooden mirror frame for my daughter.
Please can anyone tell me whether it's possible to buy a tester pot size of silver paint for this purpose? And do I just sand the frame and paint? Thanks

Look at B&Q they have plastikote pots & sprays

Spray might be easiest

What is on the frame already?

KatyMac - it's currently a v old fashioned glazed pine frame.

However, it's large and in good condition so I thought I could give it a new lease of life.

I've seen plasticote and if I tape it off carefully- spray would be good as you suggest.

They recommend Brilliant Metalic Silver for a mirror frame - fantastic - question answered, thanks!

If it is pine & factory finished (ie very hard varnish) you might struggle to sand it enough for it to 'key'

Try this if you can't get a good surface

Goodness me, that looks amazingly labour saving! Thanks Katy!
