So, my solicitor rang me at 4pm today to tell me that our buyer is now going on holiday and doesnt want to leave the house empty and so wont complete til 12th August....we were supposed to be moving on Friday!!!
Am livid. So angry. I have - literally - jumped though hoops for this idiot because he is a cash buyer (dropped the price A LOT, included some white goods etc). He wanted end of July so I have spent 2 weeks on the phone harrassing the bank, the EA and my solicitor to get things ready (not to mention put half of our stuff in storage and booked a removal van!!)
Oh. and guess what? Our offer was accepted on condition we complete on 29th....
He signed yesterday. We are supposed to sign on tuesday...WWYD?
Feel like I want to tell him to go to hell....the survery has come up with a couple of issues that need lookng into too.
Just feel like I want to give up.
