Carpenter/joiner north London - getting desperate

We need one piece (one bloody piece) of worktop replaced in the kitchen of our flat in N7. Can we get someone to come along and quote? Can we hell. Does anyone know a competent carpenter who can come along and disconnect a sink, cut a hole out of a piece of wooden worktop, plop the sink in and reconnect? I am fed up of chasing people who don't want to do the work.

have you tried posting on mybuilder? we have got a builder to do our kitchen through that site - not sure how great he is, as he's only put the floor down so far, but so far, so good! if you post your exact job specs, you should only get people who are interested in doing the work bidding for it.
