We moved from a house with 3 toilets into one with one. I won't go into TMI about why it isn't working but suffice to say I am desperate for a second toilet. I spend my time trying to work out where/ how we could fit one and I'm getting nowhere fast. Starting to wonder about buying a shed and plumbing one in, it's that bad :(
We had originally planned to turn what used to be the pantry into a toilet by putting in a wall and a door into the hall. There is already a window so it would be ideal. BUT the kitchen is very small (8ft x 7ft) with very little usable space and 2 doors, so there would be nowhere at all to put the fridge/ freezer if we did that.
The other option would be to build on the back but the ground level is about 4 foot lower than the concrete "path" immediately outside, so there would be a lot of digging out. I'm assuming even for a small building we'd be talking 5 figures? Anyone know of a way to do this on the cheap?
No option of under the stairs, because that is effectively where the pantry is. It's a 1930s semi, traditional front room, back room, tiny kitchen.
