Removing sticky masking tape marks from windows!

Exactly this - we taped around the panes to paint the window frames and, hands up, left the masking tape on for a few weeks days and it's left horrid marks. Any whizzo tips for removing the marks? Soap and water plus elbow grease isn't fixing it.

Try rubbing white spirit or WD40 on a piece of kitchen paper to to remove glue then wash the window after.

If it is bits of the tape left stuck on use a razor blind to skim it off the glass.

oil - sunflower or olive will be fine - it dissolves the sticky stuff.

Go to Asda and buy sticky stuff remover. It's in the cleaning aisle.
We did the same thing and this got if off brilliantly. I use it for getting labels off new vases or new furniture. Best thing I've found

Sticky stuff remover - like kbaby says. I got mine from Lakeland. Smells beautifully of oranges and takes it all off with minimal elbow grease in no time.
