Can anyone recommend quality fabric websites - villa nova/Sanderson etc?

hello!

I'm really struggling to find a decent website that sells quality branded fabric. I want to order a certain Sanderson fabric and wanted to see if buying online would be cheaper - but can't seem to find any sites other than the real bargain/ roll end type sites.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Am also looking for other fabric - so if you have any other websites you can recommend, that would be great. I love Ian Mankin...so that sort of thing, really.

Thanks!

I was recently looking for a particular Villa Nova fabric and investigated online sites. I found that none of them were cheaper than a normal shop. What you can get sometimes is end-of-line things but you have to have what you can get in the way of design. So in the end I bought it from my local curtain shop, actually a bit cheaper than the online quotes.

Maybe someone else will come up with something more helpful!

Thank you!!!! I'm almost relieved you've said that, because I have been driving myself mad trying to find a site, so kind of pleased you've found the same!

Never found a website as such, but the ads in the back of mags like Country Living/Homes and Gardens have loads.
I've just bought at £22/m as opposed to the £37/m retail price - and it's definitely a current design.
Will try and find some numbers if you like.

Thanks for the tip! Will check old copies....I've got mountains of them, so should put them to use!

this place if you live near Worthing, you can go in and look through their sample books.

They're fantastic - just give the code no./colour ref and they'll quote you pronto.

There are sites up doing this - usually online extensions of high street shops. Google designer fabric discount or similar and you will find them. You will need to have the reference for the fabrics you like and they will quote you - you can't browse the selection as it were. You should get 20 to 25% off RRP, but be warned that some houses are clamping down on companies doing this and not releasing their fabrics - it is hard to find discounts on Colefax and Osborne and Little for example. Romo, Villa Nova, Sanderson shouldn't be a problem.

Or, as others have suggested, ask your local shop or curtain maker if they can match the deal - some will it is always worth asking. Margins on fabrics are huge...

Just came across this chat and wondered if you pass on any discounted sites you found as I am wanting some villa nova fabric.
