We could have done this last year but missed out by the time dh had faffed around and decided to go for it, the couple in the house we could have upsized to, started to do home improvements. If they had known we were interested in theirs, they would have swapped, we would have had to given them the price difference obviously, but gah I could strangle dh.
I just wonder though if there is market for this type of thing, if legally thought out? You can do council house transfers, so why not bought homes? Be great if you could cut out crappy estate agents and their fees for doing bugger all.
