Concertina loft ladder

They look a bit more usable than the telescopic ones - deeper treads, hand holds etc. But then it does seem a bit scary for trapped fingers.

Anyone have one or got any advice?

my parents had one for my bedroom - I had the converted loft as my room. It was fine for the 20-odd years it was used several times a day, and is still used occasionally without problems. they have a wooden one.

Thanks for that - I have had another good look around and can't find negative reviews anywhere so we're going for it. I'm ridiculously excited that we'll actually be able to USE the loft not just think about it.
