We have a current loft conversion with velux windows. We've applied to planning to add dormer windows. I've had an email yesterday to say they won't grant dormer windows but will give planning for pitched windows.
The problem is that in order to look ok 2 smaller pitched windows would be better but that doesn't give is as much floor space as the one large dormer would've.
So should I scrap this idea and instead look at building on top of our single story rear extension
