i know this wont be the cheapest way to get a new boiler but i think it is the only option open to us, but before i request a visit from them for a quote, i was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea of price involved? 3 bed terraced house, cheap but energy efficient boiler, may need it relocating from bedroom to kitchen.

BG will be significantly more expensive than a local company so don't use them unless they really are the only option. It's likely to be cheaper to get a bank loan and use a cheaper company.

We've recently been quoted around £1800 + vat for a straight swap of a combi boiler. That's not the cheapest boiler but if you go too cheap it won't be as reliable or last as long. You'll need to add some labour costs for moving it, which will depend how far it's going.

Recent new Vaillant boiler cost 1800 in total - 3 bed house - local tradesman. Why only BG?

I am glad I saw this; the cheapest quote I can get iis £2300 for WBosch condensing and that is local large 2 bed flat I feel ripped offP

BG was around £1000 more expensive than a local company, for us. Shop around.
