Ikea Varde - anyone got one? Painted?

I think I really like the Varde kitchen (after spending months looks at them), but I think I might like to paint it. Do you think it's possible?

Also I'm not sure if the white doors will annoy me. I'm worried they might look a bit naff - how do they look in the flesh?

Which units do you have?

And what kind of cooker do you have? I can't decide between an integrated oven and a freestanding range.

(Really hoping Varde will be the one).

They are laminated they would look messy painted WHite kitchen is classic and timeless

Ah, I thought the carcasses were solid wood.

I agree that white is classic, I just wasn't sure whether they were a good quality looking white, iyswim.
