Range cookers - have you got one? What do you like about it?

Right, our extension build is slowly progressing and I need to distract myself from the brick dust and the fact that my kitchen is now a table in the hallway by planning the new one that I may eventually have. I would love a Rangemaster dual fuel cooker to replace the worn out gas hob and eye level fan oven we currently have. I've been looking on line and prices vary widely between models and brands - so would love some input from others.
If you have a range cooker - what have you got?
Why did you choose it?
What is the best/worst thing about it?
If you considered one, but chose something else instead what did you choose and why?
All pearls of wisdom received with thanks. Grin

I've got a hotpoint range, chose it cos it's 100 rather than the 90/110 too short/ too long other ranges, I've saved valuable space in the length of my kitchen. It's a better price than the rangemaster & has a clean modern look that suits my kitchen, most rangemasters have a retro look so can see why you'd want that if you were going for a more traditional kitchen. I do like mine although both ovens are smaller, I use the platewarmer as tray storage. You may not like the ceramic hotplate at the front, again I don't use this for it's intended purpose but find it invaluable to have a bit of flat surface at the centre of the range to rest things on and I find the hob layout very convenient.
