Staplegrove near Taunton?

To all South West sages, have heard horrible, nasty things about Staplegrove near Taunton[eek]. Such as scary gang-type characters lurking about and motorway being noisier than Heathrow at midday? Etc....
True?

DH (grew up there) says: Not that I know of. The M5 is the other side of Taunton (out towards Staplehay/ Trull) but it is towards the railway (main Exeter-London/Bristol line).

And gangs is a relative term (he knows of no gangs in Taunton).

Thank you Barbeasty, haven't been anywhere near the place but it came up in the conversation. They do have some lovely period houses for sale there.....
