So our lovely 2-storey extension is complete, we moved in a couple of weeks ago... today I was at home most of the day and noticed several loud cracks around lunchtime, within half a minute or so of each other, then they stopped. Then just now there was another one. It seemed to come from the ceiling, or the upper storey.
Please tell me this is just the new building settling, and it's not about to come down on our heads... No one was upstairs at the time.
