Oh heck where do I start!!

Solicitors have rung and house completion has been moved forward by a week so 2 weeks to go instead of 3 but..WHERE THE HECK DO I START?? We have soooo much stuff!

I know how you feel - our packers arrive on Thursday, and I've done almost nothing towards moving out. is very tempting, but I think I probably ought to be getting on with something.

When this happened to us I said I had to give the removal company a call first. Thankfully they could do the new date. They also only charged £100 extra for packing, so that was the worst of it in one fell swoop. Next stop was then the council to sort our parking waivers. Then mail redirection (they need a week or so to put it in place). Then list of utilities for necessary phonecalls before leaving.

I think my main thing is to make sure that things that belong to the house don't get packed - so I need to locate the instructions for the alarm system, and the grill pan handles and other assorted random items!

Oh yes, and I need to buy a cooker for the new house.
