Are they worth the expense?
Ive been thinking about getting some for a while now, I think they look fab, and just add to a room, however at £230 per sq m they are pricey.
Am debating the pros and cons with dh and he wants to know what makes them better than blinds..
Also can anyone recommend a supplier?

Yes , totally change the look of a room . Had them installed in windows at front of hiuse where we get the sun in the afternoon , it diffuses the sunlight perfectly in the living room , and completely shuts it out if necessary , depending which way you tilt the shutters.

becareful which company you go with - we had two bay windows to fit so had to be measured properly and frame custom made to fit slight wonky window (old house).

Give a certain well known blind company begining with H a wide berth .

T Sanderson are overly expensive and they will hit you with the ' if you placena order now I can give you xxx discount ' etc .

Highly recommend these however www.thehouseofshutters.com/aboutUs.htm

thanks Avantia, I will avoid that well known company and email your recommendation for a quote.

We are actually thinking of them for north facing windows, we are high on a hill though so we do get a lot of light.
