Am getting completely carried away with myself.
Have been to view a property and DH is planning on making an offer. I am 50 one step ahead, and am in the middle of fitting out my shiny new kitchen extension.
Should be 10'2x30' (approx)
I'd like to have a kitchen diner, and as it's south facing, I'd like to have the kitchen bit first with dining table by the french windows (so can look out onto the garden)but don't know whether that's a bit jarring - walk through the kitchen are to sit down to dinner?
would appreciate your feedback please!

this is exactly the way my friend has her kitchen and for the same reasons. it works well and gives the dining space a bit more formality as people aren't walking through it all the time. she has a separate utility room at the opposite end of the Kitchen, her dimensions are similar. She has taken the kitchen units into the dining space as a dresser effect to give visual unity to the space. It works well
