We've had a black front door for many years now but i really want a change, the window frames are wood and will eventually be painted white, but i cant think what colour to do it that also goes with the red brick, i originally wanted blue colours but cant imagine it next to brick... any ideas???

We have darkish blue on our red-brick, it looks very nice. More unusually, a neighbour has a bright yellow that looks nicer than it sounds.

deep forest green with white frames would look good

All blues and blue/greens are great with brick. As you have black now, why not try an Oxford blue so that the change is not too drastic.

We've got a grey/pale blue front door (it was dark blue when we moved in). Another house has a very pale blue door and it looks great with the red brick and white windows.

We had ours in yellow and it looked amazing.

Deep, dark green -I think its sometimes called British Racing Green.

I think that deep blue colour paint looks nice against red brick.

Thanks for all the ideas, i love the oxford blue - its the colour id originally wanted and having googled it love it now! Not so keen on the colour green the kitchen wood, cupboards and range oven were all british racing green and ive spent the past 5 months trying to rid it from my house! My neighbour has bright yellow and it looks lovely and summery - wish id got there first, but as our kitchen and living room will be cream and blue i think the oxford blue front door will work very well!

Now i know what its called i can go buy it and wait for the rain to stop to do it!!
