Updating Bedroom

I need some inspiration and help with getting started on a new look for the bedroom.

The main issue is that it currently has inbuilt sliding wardrobes on runners, which are flimsy!

Any suggestions or companies who might be able to help make the wardrobe space look better? I'm thinking quite minimalist i.e. so that they almost look as though they are not there!

Hi Julenelle - we are in the same situation as you. Have these hideous fitted wardrobes that are great for storage but have nasty veneer mahogany doors. We have asked a chippy to see whether he can replace the doors and leave the carcasses there.

A lot of wardrobe companies won't fit doors onto existing cupboards - but worth asking any in your area. The few I went to wouldn't and said they would nee to be ripped out and new ones installed, which is why a carpenter might be a better option as they can do something with whats already there?

Sorry if that isn't very helpful!

Thanks. It is helpful as I hadn't thought of getting a carpenter to take a look.
