What are Alno kitchens like?

I am being offered an alno kitchen, second hand, for the price of a new ikea one. What are they like?

No but am interior designer and have heard nothing but good about them .I have seen one in situ so so nice. german I think and the quality really shows.

We've got an old alno kitchen (was in the house when we moved in) - its not to our taste but despite it probably being over 10 years old its in excellent condition.
We love alno so much that our new kitchen will probably be from them too.

Agree - have heard lots of good things about them too. German made so very very good. We have just installed a hacker systemat kitchen which is slightly cheaper than alno ones and would defo recc any of the german brands - they all have thick carcasses and doors and do wear well as canella mentioned... bloody good price if you can get it for ikea cost!
