light fittings - huge and dramatic and simple

We have a double height landing and need a pendant light that's huge and dramatic or it will look stupid and tiddly and lost in it.

Have searched high and low to no avail.

Like modern and simple designs, not fussy chandeliers type things. Rounghly 80 cm wide and 1 m high would be perfect.

Any suggestions?

Have you looked on ebay? There's some amazing stuff on there, much cheaper than in shops. We got a huge and fantastic sputnik style ceiling light on there.
