Pictures and photos of family kitchens

I am trying to get ideas for a new kitchen - building an extension
I have never done this before
I have bought loads of magazines but cant quite get what I want.
I would like a family kitchen with a table in the middle - french doors onto the garden, wood - plain or paintable
Lots of light
Love a range but dont think it would be practicable
Easy to clean as children and pets
Does any one know any good websites or books

Hobnob - I am looking for just the same thing as the op. Kitchen and interiors magazines all seem to feature small kitchens or huge ones with islands but no table or a table in a adjoining open plan area. I have read lots of your tips here and they have been great (shameless flattery!)- love the Barncrest worktops and Roy Waring...

Would you consider letting me see your kitchen too?
