and sadly interior design really is not one of my strengths.
We live in a victorian terrace house, high ceilings, cast iron fireplace in the bedroom, upvc 'traditional' style windows.
It is not a huge room, but does have a decent sized inbuilt wardrobe. In the room is the fireplace and a mantle, a pine kingsize bed, rather large chest of drawers, small bookcase and a bedside cabinet.
All the woodwork is currently that rather fetching orangy pine colour, the chest of drawers is this one and the cabinet matches it. The duvet covers are Cath Kidston.
I need wall colours, curtains, mirrors? All on a budget i'm afraid. I think i have already decided to paint the woodwork white.
Please help! I'm not sure whether to have coloured walls, wall paper, coloured/patterned curtains/blinds, shutters?
