Can anyone recommend a nice colour for the chimney breast in my lounge?

Room is currently magnolia and chimney breast is bottle green.

Looks OK but needs freshening up. Room is east facing so needs something quite warm and I'd like the walls to be fairly light.

Anyone with any fab colour combinations they can lend me??? :)

My room is also magnolia,chimney breast is called sand either by dulux or crown cant remember,looks nice though.Also going changing mine now as been done for a few years,going to repaint room magnolia and wallpapering chimney breast,love the modern wallpapers out now with big mad flowers so 70s!!

How about painting the whole room, including the chimney breast, white? I do love white.
