So this is our first home, don't want to spend a fortune as it is not the forever house. But looking for decent quality for doing lounge and bedrooms, just don't know where to start looking. Thanks for your help!

Ps looking for minky, mushroomy, muted pastelly colours in muted tones.

B&Q, Homebase, local DIY stores all have loads of choice. You can buy online at wallpaper direct but I would advise buying from a shop where you can feel the quality of the paper.

B and Q always have a nice range, from cheap to special orders that are more expensive.
Even expensive wallpaper can look naff though if it is not put up right.

Thanks! So I guess the more expensive paper is thicker? Any tips on stuff to steer clear of?

Oh and I've seen a couple on Next online that I like? Do they do decent quality paper? Not felt it in person yet

Laura Ashley can be pricey but half price sales are frequent.

Decorators like it too.
