Area Advice - Norwich

My husband and I are going to be settling down into our "forever" home within the next couple of years. He would like to live in Norwich (it is the right side of the M25 for him) and frankly I don't care where we live as I have been nomadic all my life (Dad was Army as is husband currently).

Now I don't know Norwich very well, hence needing area advice. I would like somewhere semi-rural but where I can get into town by Car within 20/30 minutes. I have been looking at Attleborough, and there are some lovely 4 beds within our price range currently. Can anyone suggest anywhere else? We have 3 children (2 boys 10 and 12 and 1 daughter, 1) and 2 dogs.

I was born and brought up in Wymondham and my Mum still lives there, so we go back a lot. It's a nice small town, about 20mins south west from Norwich near the A11. Schools are good and have been consistently for years.
