Freestanding Kitchen for a rental property?

I have become the proud owner of an investment property with no kitchen. The property needs cosmetic work and to save on costs I am considering putting in a freestanding kitchen. Is this a good idea? Or would it be nicked?

Bad idea - freestanding need to be looked after to keep nice. Get a fitted one where there is less cleaning (and everything is screwed down Wink). Choose one where the doors can be bought separately in case one or two get damaged.

Agreed, you want it to be hard wearing and low maintenance. Don't put anything expensive in it so go for laminate worktop, a stainless steel sink, wooden doors and a vinyl tiled floor.
