Walnut flooring

Is it a nightmare to keep looking clean?

I've heard lots of people moan about how hard it is to keep slate looking clean due to it's darker colour...is walnut the same?

It shows the dust more than paler woods - and it can scratch a lot. I don't have it myself but a friend does and says she wouldn't have it again.

Thanks fancy - was going to have it oiled so the scratching wouldn't be too bad but dust is unforgivable for a slob like me
