I want to do up a diner/kitchen. Kitchen will be matt cream units, oak worktop, butler sink, stone or terracota tiles in kitchen but oak floor in dining area- sort of modern country-ish theme.

I'm looking for a side table to go into the dining room for extra storage as the kitchen is small. Now do I choose a white or oak one?
Was thinking of doing the walls in a pale green or maybe mushroom with white skirting/door frames....
