Cost of replacing bay window?

We've got a 30's house with a bay window that we think we're going to need to replace. Anyone had this done and how much did it cost?

It's a box bay not a rounded one if this makes any difference.

Do you mean the window or the bay itself? We had to replace a three -sided bay at a development flat a few years ago - it cost #12k (poshish part of London). That included extra deep foundations, all the building regs and new sashes as none of the windows were reuseable plus leadwork on the canopy of the bay. It was only a single storey bay though.

We've just had one done with A rated glass and it cost a grand, i'm sure there are cheaper options in fact we were quoted last year £2800 for three identical ones, so not much in it and I wanted the best to try and keep the bills down.

Thanks, I meant just the window lala.

A grand is sort of what we were hoping thinking it might which is good mama. I think I'll need to get some quotes done and run the gauntlet of double glazing salesmen.
