So having spent 5 years saving and waiting to renovate my lovely victorian house, we've just started work and DH has been relocated!
We are weighing up whether to move or to stay put and give DH almost a 2 hour commute. I am pregnant so the commuting option not great no matter how much I love our house.
So, leatherhead looks good location-wise, not far from family. However any feedback on the following:
- What are the state secondary school options DS1 is 7 so not too far off.
- What parts of leatherhead are worth considering/avoiding. I've see a nice house not too far from the station.
- What's the town like ?
- Does anyone commute into London ? How reliable is the train service incase I go back to work.
Any insights would be great
