I have a friend with a very stylish house and she has lots of framed photos on her hallway wall all different shapes, styles and sizes but mostly black, silver, white etc. I think most of the photos are black and white but some colour it looks brilliant. Want to copy!! I found this site that might help is that what you are thinking? here

I have lots of personal photos in frames scattered throughout house - who wouldn't want to remember their kids as babies/toddlers etc?

If you feel really hopeless, I've had a few friends who have had a collection of photographs scanned in and professionally arranged on giant "canvasses" and they looked really good (pictures of one person from childhood to landmark birthday for example).

I have a wall upstairs on the landing with all of our family photos on........a couple of montages of when me and DH were kids, and then our family and then our 2 kids. All black or silver frames, some colour and some black and white.
We have no family pics downstairs!!

I've just done a picture wall on our landing. It's a small space so I've kept the top and bottom levels of the photos the same on 3 walls (lots of different size frames, canvases and other bits like postcards of special places).

It looks fantastic, even in a small space because there is nothing else and it makes me smile every time I see it!
