is cheltenham a nice place to live

hi i have the chance to exchange from swindon to cornmeadow drive arle farm spring bank as im from swindon dont no cheltenham, is this a rough area to live in and also is the crime rate really high there and whats the best junior and secondry schools near here thanks every 1:)

You may be best posting in the Mumsnet Local area, as there's a Cheltenham section.

My geographical knowledge of Cheltenham isn't great, so I don't know the area you're looking at, but a couple of good areas are Prestbury and Charlton Kings. There are a few more, but I'm not sure of the names. Areas to avoid are Whaddon, Hesters Way and St. Pauls.

You're best off posting in the local section for some proper advice, particularly about schools. :)
