Need to glam up a garden fence - any paint colour suggestions?

Have a very tatty back garden fence! Am thinking of slapping a load of paint on but not sure of colour. Anyone done this before who could advise. Thanks.

Not sure painting it will make much difference. If it is tatty but solid, I would train something up it - some dwarf fruit trees or lovely climbing roses.

I agree with Lala that painting it may not make much of a difference.

However, the standard advice from Humphrey Repton was to paint them a very very dark green, which melts into the background.

Falling down tatty or dull greyish brown tatty. My plan for my untatty fencing is a nice lick of F & B Light Blue. Most people seem to pick olive green colour.
