Flooring for futility room

Think we need tiles as it'll be a thoroughfare from front garden to back and also links kitchen to downstairs shower room i.e. muddy / wet feet, bikes, lawnmowers etc.

I'm thinking stone effect tiles with a mud coloured grout!

Any advice / experience would be gratefully received.

TIA

You're going to be putting heavy stuff like lawn mowers down on it then don't spend too much on tiles as they may crack. You could get Karndeann in a tile effect?

Tiles won't crack if you get proper ceramic/porcelain floor tiles - they are bombproof.

We have slate-coloured tiles in our utility, with matching grout, and they don't show the dirt at all - absolutely brilliant! Don't go for cream or white, or you'll be contantly mopping.

Surely it has to be lino? Isn't it the law?

I agree with (dark and mottled) stone coloured tiles and mud coloured grout.
