1930's design resources?

Hi, as the title suggests I have a 1930's house and I'd like to honour some of the original aesthetics of that period in a refurbishment.

Can anyone recommend any publications for restoring a 1930's house? (There are magazines for older properties but I can't find anything for the 30's).

1930s is horribly overlooked. I'm assuming that it isn't Art Deco or Modernist in which case there are some really beautiful (but expensive) books on suburbia and development of those inter-War estates. Have to pop out to pick up children and will try to remember names of some of them if you can't dig anything up.

This is a great book for structural information/architectural details - has been invaluable after moving into our 30's house.

here's another one but no idea what it's like

and another

We will be selling a 1930 house so will have mirrors etc to sell if you are interested

DH parents lived in it since it was built so it is full of original features and furniture

Thanks for book references Moo.

Lala- ITA the 1930's are overlooked- my house has nice generous proportions but does need some TLC. Not entirely sure if it's Deco or modernist- probably just standard interwar.

RTKanga- I'd love a 30's mirror-will PM you if I can work out how...
