Hi, am having an extension built which is very stressy. Just went to look at new ensuite as tiler had left. There tiles are darker than I thought and he has tiled with white grout (which we had discussed) but it looks awful.

Do I

  1. Live with it
2.use a grout pen when dry to make darker (or even felt tip!) 3.try and dig it all out before it dries properly.

he's done the floor with dark grout and it looks fab

Help - am so gutted!

Grout pen will look crap. If you can't live with it, I'd start rinsing it down with very wet cloth to try and dissolve some of the grout near the surface, then tiler can regrout in a colour of your choice. Will be a long, boring job - hope your bathroom isn't too big.

Yes, set to it with a wet sponge, or old toothbrush. It will only annoy you forever! Get it re-grouted. Sorry it doesn't look like you wanted, glad floor looks fab.
