Bissell Little Green Clean Machine - any good?

We've recently bought a house and can't afford to replace the carpets for a good while yet, so have to live with the ones we have. They are cream. I can't convey just how much we aren't suited to cream carpets as a family, and I think it's time to get a carpet cleaner.

I was hoping to spend less than £100 and would like something compact. Came across the Bissell Little Green Clean Machine, which seems like it might be up to the job. Does anyone have one? Is it any good?

Hi, we have one of these and it's brilliant for little spills, but if you've got a whole carpet to do it would be a nightmare because it would take way too long. We've also got one of the bigger machines by Bissell that's like an upright hoover and that is amazing. DH wanted that one. I told him he already has enough gadgets to keep a branch of Dixons happy! Does look very clever though. I tried to win one on their facebook page last month.

Yeah, I liked the SpotBot too, but I think as it's the same size as the little green one then it's probably going to be the same for cleaning whole carpets. But they would be much easier to store.
