Howdens Kitchens - any good?

We are having a new kitchen and were looking at getting one from John Lewis but our builder is recommending Howdens as he says the quality is better which surprised me. Does anyone have experience of Howdens? TIA

Do you know john lewis are rebadged mereway so you can get cheaper from mereway supplier.

Given the thread is 4 years old i'd say the OP has had it done now.
