Help me find a washing machine that is no more than 57cm deep- I suspect an impossible task....

We have a tiny galley kitchen. We were thinking about trying to get a washing machine into a cupboard where the imersion was (having new boiler) cept its only 57cm deep. I have an annoying feeling most appliances are 60cm but I challenge you to find me a shallower one as it would be great to put it there and gain an extra cupboard in kitchen!

YOu might try looking at ones that are supposed to be built in ones - they're smaller, so they fit behind the cupboard doors.

We ended up getting a cheap Beko one when we moved into this current rented house. Space and plumbing in a unit for a washing machine but not a very big space!

We were limited by width as well as depth. The one we've got is 48cm deep. I'm sure it's not the greatest thing, but it fits in the space available. Although we can't use the detergent drawer as the cupboard door hinges are in the way so that might be something to consider too.

i have a john lewis own make slim depth one - think it's 56cm deep - it is excellent.
