sort of thing

Would you recommend them? How easy are they to fit and did you put them over your old tiles?

Thanks

Do you mean shower panels?

I am planning to get some, getting our builder to fit them as we're having other work done anyway. He says he's put them in a few places and they are very easy to fit.

I've only found 2 places on the net so far, the above link and these people.

Blitz, is that on your walls, or ceiling and walls?

I'm not having mine done for a while (forward planning!) please let me know how you go on.

Just the walls in/around the shower. It will be a couple of months till it's done, but I will try to remember to report back!

Please do. I need to do something about my tiles, and am seriously short of cash.

My MIL has something very similar in her bathroom, a kind of New England panelling effect. I have to say it is quite nice, easy to clean , covers the hideous tiles and wonky walls that were underneath and seems to be waterproof enough. They also have it in the shower over the bath and it is on the walls too- she has had it about four years and doesn't seem to leak and is wipe cleanable.

The only thing I would say is that where it meets the bath it hasn't been finished very well. My FIL did the job himself and the finishing isn't fab. But thats not really the products fault.

I'm sure they bought them in wickes.

Both my neighbours and my parents had these fitted and have had no problems. My dad fitted his himself,so they must be fairly widely available now. They are really happy with them.

Just reporting back... our panels went on the wall today and actually look rather fab. Grin Really pleased.
