I've seen it suggested when I was looking for bathroom floors. What do you think?

Think it might be a bit too slippy as well as a bit cold - depends on where you live though I suppose !

Dont see why not, its warm, practical, hardwearing.

Good point about slippy. I'm not sure if it would be hot or cold.

I like that it'd be practical and hardwearing.

its only like having a wooden or laminate floor but brighter.
Get some rugs to go on it.

Yes, there are some great ones on ebay. Cheap cheerful, easy to clean and easy to change at a later date.

I love the cork we have in our bedroom and our sons bedroom, it is warm underfoot and sound insulating as well as easy to keep clean (more expensive than vinyl and more trouble to lay and change later if you did change your mind).

I like vinyl as it's cheap, cheerful and easily replaced. In my experience of it though, furniture will create dents in it.

I hated it in my bedroom when I was a child-cold and sort of 'sinky', but maybe vinyl is better now-lots of people have laminate, but I think it's noisy in the room below?
My amtico flooring in my bathroom is beautiful and 7yrs on looks brand new-I think it looks like frosted glass.

My son has silver chequerplate vinyl in his bedroom, with a rug by his bed so it's not too cold. Looks great!!

Thanks everyone, vinyl is looking good then!

I would. It's hygienic, warm and (can) look very good.
